Whoopee! An incredible ride today … from Sacramento along the beautiful bike trails that are adjacent to the river.
Some 30 miles of trail along the American River, Folsom Prison and Folsom Lake.
It was a warm to hot day, yet a gorgeous day for biking … we even observed some wild turkeys, some deer (bucks with antlers that has the velvet covering on them.
Finally we turned toward Auburn and began to climb … usually 3-5% grade all way up to Auburn, yet, the last 2 miles were 8-9% .
Auburn is such a quaint little town … that we had to stop for Yogurt … Ummmmm Goood!
Then another mile climbto our Comfort Inn … checked in and now we’re going to try to get our laundry washed …
